Maalox® Regular Strength Antacid Suspension provides fast, effective relief in two ways. An antacid neutralizes excess stomach acid and an anti-gas ingredient reduces gas pain and pressure.

Treatment of moderate symptoms of burning sensation in the stomach or chest area with accompanying bloating and/or gas pain. Usually occurs after a meal.


Medicinal Ingredients: Each teaspoonful (5 mL) contains 200 mg magnesium hydroxide, 200 mg aluminum hydroxide dried gel (equivalent to 153 mg aluminum hydroxide) and 20 mg simethicone.

Non-medicinal Ingredients: butylparaben, flavour, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, propylparaben, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol, water. Sucrose Free.

 
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not use for more than 2 weeks or if symptoms recur or if you have kidney disease except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Do not take within 2 hours of another medication because the effectiveness of the other medication may be altered. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.
Adults: 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls, four times per day or as directed by a physician. Do not take more than 16 teaspoonfuls in a 24 hour period.
